Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern entry into CryptoPrizeGuy prize competitions. Please read them carefully before purchasing or submitting a free postal entry.
1. Who we are
CryptoPrizeGuy (“CryptoPrizeGuy”, “we”, “us”) runs UK-only skill-based prize competitions.
We operate online from cryptoprizeguy.co.uk and associated subdomains.
Contact [email protected] for questions about these terms.
2. Eligibility
Competitions are open to legal residents of the United Kingdom or Ireland aged 18 or over.
Proof of age, identity, and residency will be requested before we award a prize.
Employees, contractors, or immediate family of CryptoPrizeGuy may not enter unless explicitly authorised for testing purposes.
3. Entering competitions
Each draw lists its ticket price, entry cap, closing date/time, skill question, and prize details.
To enter, participants must correctly answer the skill-based question displayed on the draw page. This ensures that success depends to a degree on skill or knowledge, as required under the Gambling Act 2005.
Paid entries are submitted online via our secure card checkout. We use a PCI DSS–compliant payment processor and never store card details ourselves.
A free postal entry route of equal prominence is available for every draw. See cryptoprizeguy.co.uk/free-entry for full instructions, per-person limits, and the postal address.
Postal entries must include the entrant’s full name, address, email, phone number, answer to the skill question, and the specific competition they wish to enter. Entries must arrive before the advertised closing time.
We reserve the right to reject entries that are incomplete, incorrect, illegible, late, or in breach of these terms.
4. Draw process and winner selection
When a draw closes (either at the stated deadline or when all tickets are sold), all correct entries (paid and postal) are combined into a single entry pool.
We verify the total number of entries live. We then use a third-party random number generator (e.g., Google RNG) live on stream to select the winning ticket number.
We will contact the winner using the email or phone number provided. Winners must respond within 14 days and complete any requested ID or AML checks. Failure to respond within this period allows us to redraw.
5. Prizes
Prizes are described in each draw listing. We reserve the right to provide an equal or higher value alternative (e.g., GBP cash equivalent) if the advertised item is unavailable.
Prizes are non-transferable. Cash prizes are paid via UK bank transfer to the verified winner. Physical goods, vouchers, or experiences are fulfilled to a UK/Ireland address (or electronically) after ID verification.
We do not offer financial instruments or digital assets (including cryptocurrencies or tokens) as prizes. All prizes will be cash equivalents or physical items.
6. Refunds, cancellations, and errors
Ticket purchases are final unless we cancel a draw. If a draw is cancelled, all paid entries will be refunded to the original payment method. Free postal entries have no monetary value.
We are not responsible for technical faults, network outages, or payment-card issues. If a material error affects fairness, we will void the draw and refund all paid entries.
Full details of our refund triggers and complaint-handling steps are published at cryptoprizeguy.co.uk/complaints.
7. Responsible participation
Limit your entries to what you can afford. We may impose entry caps per person and suspend accounts showing risky behaviour.
You can contact [email protected] to request self-exclusion from future draws.
8. Compliance and fairness
CryptoPrizeGuy operates under UK Prize Competition and Free Draw regulations, as defined in the Gambling Act 2005. Every competition provides both a skill-based question and a free postal entry route to ensure full compliance.
We maintain transparency by publishing entry lists and hashes before the draw. All draws are conducted live and are designed to be fair, transparent, and verifiable.
9. Privacy and data use
We collect and process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy (cryptoprizeguy.co.uk/privacy). This includes account details, payment confirmations, and verification information.
Our chosen payment provider (Cashflows) handles card payments. We do not store payment card data directly.
We run first-party analytics (Vercel) and Microsoft Clarity on public pages to understand engagement. Clarity recordings mask sensitive inputs and avoid capturing checkout/auth flows; you can opt out via your browser or consent settings as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect regulatory changes or new features. Material updates will be announced via email or on-site notification.
Continued participation after updates means you accept the revised terms.
11. Refunds & complaints
Visit cryptoprizeguy.co.uk/complaints for our full refund and complaint-handling process, including expected response times and escalation steps.
You can also email [email protected] with the word "Complaint" in the subject if you need to raise an issue directly.
